The members of the Probate Litigation Group, drawn from multiple related practice areas at Verrill Dana, are uniquely qualified to handle these complex matters, as they have both breadth and depth of expertise in litigation and an advanced understanding of trusts and estates.
The Probate Litigation Group is co-chaired by partners William Knowles and Jacqueline Rider, and represents beneficiaries, individuals or institutions acting in a fiduciary capacity, and charitable organizations involved in contested and uncontested matters involving trusts and estates in the probate courts and superior courts in Maine and Massachusetts.
The Group also advises fiduciaries with respect to risk management and provides services to both fiduciaries and beneficiaries in connection with alternative dispute resolution.
